Terms and Conditions

Last updated: September 8, 2026

1. The service

Readerbeam lets you send web pages and PDFs to your e-reader (Kindle today; other devices are planned). By creating an account, you agree to these terms.

2. Plans and limits

The Free plan includes a limited number of sends per calendar month. Pro is a paid, unlimited plan billed on a recurring basis via Stripe. We may change plan limits or pricing with reasonable notice; changes won't apply retroactively to a billing period you've already paid for.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Readerbeam to:

  • send content you don't have the right to distribute or copy,
  • send unlawful, infringing, or abusive content,
  • send to a device address you don't own or control, or
  • attempt to abuse, overload, or circumvent plan limits.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, including where deliverability of our sending domain to Amazon or other device providers is put at risk.

4. Your content

You retain all rights to what you send. We process it only to the extent needed to deliver it to your device, and don't retain it beyond that — see our Privacy Policy.

5. No warranty

Readerbeam is provided "as is". Delivery depends on third parties (e.g. Amazon's acceptance of email to your device) that we don't control, so we can't guarantee every delivery will succeed. We work to make failures visible on your dashboard rather than silent.

6. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Readerbeam isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

7. Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated by email or an in-app notice before they take effect.
