Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

To run Readerbeam we collect: your email address (via Supabase Auth), the delivery address of any reading device you add (e.g. your Kindle's @kindle.com address) and an optional alias for it, and metadata about each delivery you send — the source link or filename, a title, its status, and timestamps. We don't read or retain the full text/content of what you send beyond the time needed to process and deliver it.

2. How we use it

Your device address is used solely to deliver documents you explicitly send. Your email is used for authentication, account-related notices, and (if you're on a paid plan) billing. Delivery metadata is used to show your history on the dashboard and to enforce plan limits.

3. Who we share it with

We rely on a small number of infrastructure providers:

• Supabase — authentication, database, and temporary file storage.
• Resend — delivering documents to your device via email.
• Stripe — payment processing, for paid plans only. We never see or store your card details.

We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with anyone else.

4. Cookies

We use a single session cookie, set by Supabase Auth, to keep you signed in. We don't use tracking or advertising cookies.

5. Data retention & deletion

Uploaded files are stored only long enough to complete delivery, then removed. Delivery history and device records are kept until you delete them or close your account. You can request full account deletion at any time by contacting us.

6. Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time from the dashboard, or by emailing us. If you're in the EU/UK, this includes the rights granted under GDPR.
